Join us Saturday April 13th at 1:15pm for a 90-minute class to help “grow your practice”. In this month’s workshop, we will be looking at Hanumanasana. Front Splits. Asana of the devil. Whatever you call it, a full front split takes time and consistency to build up the mobility and flexibility to do them comfortably, and that’s what we are working on this month! Whether your goal is full splits, a strengthening half split, or a deep stretch, we will focus on targeting the muscles that help allow more flexibility for splits-quadriceps, paoas, hamstrings, and hip flexors. Come join us! As we explore various poses such as tree, dancer, eagle, balancing twists, head to knee, warrior III, standing splits, half moon and sugarcane, we’ll look at fundamental structure, use our breath, and find ways to center and stabilize in these fun and sometimes challenging poses. We’ll start with a short flow to prepare the body, and as always we will go over variations and modifications in every pose so come as you are, and let’s and build focus and confidence!
