Join us on Saturday, February 17th at 1:15pm for a 75-minute class to help “grow your practice”. In this month’s workshop, we are covering the basics of backbends-also known as front-body openers or “heart-openers”. We’ll discuss some of the benefits of backbending, how to warm up, and many of the common backbends: cobra, updog, locust, bow, camel, bridge, and wheel. In doing each we’ll go over modifications and variations with blocks and straps to help facilitate the pose and deepen your practice. You’ll leave with tools to feel safe with the physical and emotional aspects of back bending. Come join us!
