January 2025 Beginners Yoga Series!
Soul Strong Yoga, 107 S Lewis St, Suite 110
Want to explore yoga for the first time or brush up on your practice? This Beginners Series will be light-hearted and provide a safe, fun space to explore the many poses of yoga and how to “flow” in a yoga class.
Your yoga teacher will guide the class through not only proper alignment, but finding the best alignment for your body. The class will learn about and practice foundational yoga poses, such as upward salute, the three warrior poses, triangle, extended side angle, and balancing poses. This class is kept small to ensure that the group is provided individualized attention and so social distancing practices can be in place.
Please dress comfortably in clothes you can move in, bring a water bottle, and your own yoga mat. We will provide blocks for you.

Kelly
Kelly first stepped onto the mat in 2013 as a dedicated runner and triathlete seeking greater flexibility. After a broken ankle in 2019, her relationship with yoga transformed from a physical practice to a healing journey, enriching her life on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
She now enjoys guiding slower, mindful practices, encouraging students to explore the connection between breath and movement. With a playful approach, Kelly makes yoga accessible to all, fostering an environment where students can experience both flexibility and strength.
Kelly has a 200 hour certification from Soul Strong Yoga and has pursued advanced trainings in Yin Yoga, sequencing, sound healing, and adaptive yoga, and she wholeheartedly believes that yoga is a lifelong practice, benefiting each and every person.
